Le dernier Grenoble - Sedan reste un excellent souvenir puisqu'en s'imposant 3-1, les Sedanais confortaient leur position dans la quête de l'accession en ligue 1.
Depuis, redescendu en ligue 2, les Sangliers se déplacent chez un adversaire qui entre temps, fort d'une derniére saison intéressante, se pose désormais en outsider pour la lutte à l'accession.
Pour ce match, José Pasqualetti a retenu une liste de 16 joueus dont ne font pas parti Yahia (blessé), Monney et Camara (non qualifiés) et Cerielo, Cissé, Tibéri et bien sûr Le Moigne (choix de l'entraîneur). Selon le site officiel du club, le onze de départ pourrait être le suivant :
Regnault - Lachor, Sartre, Traoré, Stinat- Bonnet , Baning, Amalfitano, Lucau- Job, Boutabout.
Soit un bon vieux 4-4-2, Lucau étant préféré à Abdoun à droite et Mokaké prennant place sur le banc malgré une série de matchs amicaux prometteurs.
Côté grenoblois, l'attaquant Luigi Glombard vient d'être engagé mais ne sera pas qualifié. Le gardien titulaire est indisponible et c'est Cattier qui tiendra les cages de Wimbée.
