Entre une équipe résolument offensive, le CSSA, et une autre, Niort, plus à l'aise à l'extérieur évoluant généralement en contre, les Sedanais vont devoir maintenir leur tout nouveau réalisme devant les cages tout en resserant considérablement les boulons derriére afin de se rapprocher un peu plus de la 3ème place.
José Pasqualetti a reconduit le même groupe que la semaine précédente et le même onze de départ à l'exception d'Allart qui débutera la rencontre en lieu et place de Lucau. Baysse est en phase de reprise, quant à Perez, fraîchement intégré, il s'est donné une entorse à l'entraînement. Le coach joue donc la carte de la continuité, ce qui a plutôt bien réussi la semaine précédente.
Côté Chamois, on dénombre pas mal de blessés dont l'ex-Sedanais Gagnier qui sera donc absent. Parcontre, Bugnet, qui avait refusé un essai au CSSA l'été dernier pour s'enterrer lamentablement en Espagne, a rejoint Niort au mercato et vient de recevoir sa lettre de sortie, il sera donc présent.
