Ce sont 18 joueurs qui se sont retrouvés cet après-midi à Montvillers avant de s'envoler pour la Corse. Sans Kevin Parienté, touché aux adducteurs mais avec Ante Roić, qui a obtenu sa qualification, Landry Chauvin puisera parmi ce noyau pour composer son groupe de 16. Youssef Sekour, Sofyane Cherfa, Rahmane Barry et Arnaud Monney sont laissés à la disposition de la CFA2.
Largement remanié au mercato, l'équipe ajaccienne coaché par José Pasqualetti, est en totale perte de vitesse après un début de saison prometteur. A l'inverse, le CSSA après une entame ratée, semble petit à petit sortir la tête de l'eau. Tout ceci reste bien précaire et il s'agira de rester vigilant afin de conserver la tendance actuelle. Plus enclin à réaliser de petits exploits que de rivaliser avec ses concurrents directs, Sedan serait bien inspiré, pour cette fois de prendre le pas sur un adversaire pour le maintien.
