Aux portes de la relégation, Sedan lançait sa saison à Boulogne le 10 octobre dernier. Depuis, le CSSA est la meilleure équipe de L2 et a dominé les cadors de l'époque : Boulogne, Metz, Strasbourg, Lens ont tous subi la loi du CSSA.
Sur les 9 derniers matchs, les hommes de Landry Chauvin sont repartis à 6 occasions avec les 3 points. Forts du maintien acquis la semaine dernière avec la manière à Reims, la réception de Boulogne peut maintenant lancer une folle course vers la L1.
Ce match est donc un nouveau tournant, face à un concurrent direct. Dans 90 minutes nous saurons si Sedan peut se battre pour la montée jusque fin mai ou si l'équipe prépare déjà la saison prochaine en soignant ses blessés.
En effet, Ismaël Traoré, touché aux adducteurs, rejoindra Damien Tiberi et Yohan Eudeline à l'infirmerie. Baysse a donc été rappelé et ne jouera pas contre l'Estonie vendredi avec les Bleuets, il sera associé à Rozic qui fait son retour dans le groupe, tout comme Sekour.
Du coté boulonnais, Jeremy Blayac sera absent à cause d'une blessure au bras.
