Le CSSA a donc réussi le triplé et repart sur les chapeaux de roues en ce début d'année.
Les Sedanais ont été cueilli à froid sur une erreur de Regnault, sur un coup-franc, il maitrisait mal la balle et c'est Viale, l'ancien rémois, qui en profite pour ouvrir le score.
Peu à peu Sedan rentrait dans le match, et c'est Ciani qui égalisait sur corner.
Noro enfoncait le clou juste avant la mi-temps.
En deuxiéme mi-temps, Sedan gérait sans jamais être inquiéter et c'est Boutabout qui mettait le 3éme but sur un très bon service de Laurent Gagnier.
Sedan avait alors l'occasion de marquer plusieurs fois par Mokaké, Sabin ou Belhadj, mais finalement, le score n'évoluait plus.
Sedan enregistre donc sa 3éme victoire d'affilée, est invaincu depuis 9 matchs et occupe toujours la place de leader devant Lorient, qui s'est imposé à Séte (2-0).
Dimanche, Valenciennes accueille Caen et lundi, Bastia se déplace à Bastia.
La prochaine journée sera particuliérement important avec un déplacement à Lorient et un Valenciennes-Bastia. |

Quatre jours après sa seconde victoire de l'année (en autant de matches), le CSSA reçoit un nouveau mal classé, le FC Istres. Sedan va donc jouer son 2è match consécutif à domicile. D'ailleurs, prendre 6 points à cette occasion reste une vraie rareté que cela soit en L1 ou en L2. Nos joueurs devront donc jouer ce match sérieusement afin de vaincre ce signe indien. Pour info, la dernière fois que les Sangliers ont réalisé cet "exploit", ils sont montés en Ligue 1... Peut-être un heureux présage ?
Mais attention car en face, Sedan aura une équipe blessée dans son orgueil. Relégable depuis de longue semaine, le FC Istres a retrouvé le chemin des filets et de la victoire contre son voisin Sète. Ce succès lui a permis de ce fait de quitter la zone rouge. L'objectif des Violets sera donc de ne pas y retourner illico presto. Le duo d'attaque Fauré-Viale, appuyé par Cavalli sera l'atout numéro un des Provencaux.
Pour cette rencontre Serge Romano dispose de tout son monde. Le groupe vainqueur de Clermont est donc le même, on espère pour un résultat identique. La confiance engrangée, l'envie manifestée lundi soir, l'efficacité offensive mais aussi défensive, le retour en forme de Lolo Gagnier, ... autant de raison de croire au destin de Sedan, d'autant que cette 22è journée de championnat verra un Brest-Bastia et un Valenciennes-Caen. L'occasion est donc très belle pour faire un peu plus le trou et mettre la pression sur la meute des poursuivants.
